Overview
Polyvine Wood Dye come in a range of colour suitable for application on interior and exterior soft and hardwoods. Specially formulated to prevent overlap marks these intermixable colours produce a professional finish. They are also quick drying, light fast, versatile and water-based and will not blister or peel giving you a durable, rich colour when finished with a suitable top coat.

Preparation
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
- Sand wood thoroughly to a smooth finish and remove any dust.
- Remove oils and resins from oily hardwoods and resinous softwood.
- Completely remove any previous finishes to allow for an even colour.
Application
Always test the product on the surface to be painted before embarking on the project to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Make sure you have sufficient dye to finish the work. If more than one tin is required, mix the contents together in a clean container to ensure uniform colour
- Stir well before use, do not shake.
- Apply liberally using a brush or clean cotton cloth and work into the grain.
- Wipe off any excess immediately.
- For a stronger colour allow to dry for 4 hours and apply a second coat.
- For a lighter colour dilute with water.
- Apply a topcoat to protect your coloured wood.

Aftercare & Storage
Store in unopened containers in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
